5th Annual Public Health Priorities Dental Symposium

About The Event

The Public Health Priorities Dental Symposium delivers high-quality continuing professional education on the public health issues that most shape the care we provide.

Our mission is to equip dental professionals with the knowledge and tools to address these challenges directly — inside the operatory and across the communities we serve.

Hosted at the University of the District of Columbia (UDC), this year's symposium focuses on three topics every dental professional in the District should be fluent in: implicit bias and cultural humility in clinical care, child abuse recognition and reporting, and women's oral health across the lifespan.

These aren't abstract subjects. They show up in how you greet a patient, what you notice during an exam, and how you counsel someone through a life stage. Each session is built for application, not just attendance.
