Meet Dr. Howard Notgarnie, a retired dental hygienist with 30 years of clinical practice experience. He has authored more than 20 articles in professional and scholarly literature, including research on the critical thinking skills of dental hygiene students. Dr. Notgarnie has served as a trustee on the Board of the Florida Dental Hygiene Association (1993-1999) and the Colorado Dental Hygienists’ Association (2004-2009, 2015-2021). Currently, he is on the boards of the American Academy of Dental Hygiene and the New Jersey Dental Hygienists’ Association.
