A Higher Learning, LLC was founded by Shavonne R. Healy, a seasoned public health advocate with over 20 years of clinical care experience as a dental assistant and hygienist. Her organization is committed to transforming dental care through advanced education, innovative technologies, and elevating preventative and non-invasive approaches.

Shavonne is highly regarded for her expertise in treating periodontal and peri-implant diseases, inspiring clinicians, alumni, and faculty worldwide with her presentations. She holds a master's degree in dental hygiene from the University of Bridgeport: Fones School of Dental Hygiene, the world's first dental hygiene school, solidifying her position as an industry leader.

Shavonne's passion extends to advocating for ethical practices and public health initiatives in oral hygiene and dentistry more broadly, utilizing data-driven approaches while staying abreast of and actively advancing legal and regulatory standards for professionals and patients alike.
